Thank you all for making the Farmers Speak-out a big success! The Farmers' Speakout event held Feb. 16th at the First Presbyterian Church, was a most remarkable gathering of 200+ people with 37 farmers and others coming forward to the microphone to speak. The event lasted 3 hours and everyone who came forward and signed up to speak had a chance at the mike. It was a significant event and the beginning of many more round table discussions and working together on projects that develop the support network for local agriculture and local food infrastructure. The Environmental Work Group is compiling your questionnaires responses and contact information and summing up all the concepts with both typed and video media.
JohnPaul Sliva has FINISHED editing the video of the Farmer's Speakout. It is now compiled in chapters and can be viewed easily. Thank you John for your great work!
